Gwenver Class 2025/26 wishes you a very warm welcome.
We are an amazing bunch of Year 5 children, who love to learn and we would love to share with you what we have been up to!
In the Autumn Term, we will be learning about the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings, and especially looking at if Vikings were as vicious as they are made out to be. Our project question for this project is: How have new arrivals and changes in power shaped Great Britain over the years?
During the Spring Term, we will be learning all above what goes on above us, focusing on space and the planets! Our project question for this project is: To infinity and beyond: Are we really miles apart?
Our enquiry question for the Summer term is 'How did we forget the Maya when they gave so much?' where will will dive into the history of Ancient Maya and see what has been left behind to help us learn about this important part of the past.
