Harvest Festival

This coming Friday, 13th October the school will be holding their harvest festival at St Hilary Church from 2pm.

We will be taking part with the whole school and will be singing our own song as well as joining in with the chorus of a few songs too!

I have sent a letter home regarding a 'floppy' hat that we would like the children to wear while singing "Dingle Dangle Scarecrow", but please DO NOT buy one especially for the song!  I expect that there will be a few without hats, including me and Mrs Izzard.

We have been having singing assemblies recently to practise our songs along with our music sessions and I hear from several parents that the children have also been singing at home ~ BRILLIANT!!!  I have attached some photos of our practises!

We also have a school trip to Trevaskis Farm taking place on Wednesday 18th October.  If there are any parents who would like to help with the trip come and see me please.

Many thanks to all parents who have returned their slips for our parent consultations.  This is chat about how your child has settled into school life and how you think things are going.  I think everyone has one of their choices for an appointment, but if you need to change it let me know.  I have put the timetable on the classroom door so you can check and have also sent a slip home for you to put on your 'fridge!!

I'm looking forward to meeting you all again,

Regards,
Jude Gardner
